The Iowa Hundesport Club
The Iowa Hundesport Club is comprised of handler and dog teams aiming towards the goal of trialling and titling their dogs in the sport of Schutzhund. Schutzhund is a German word meaning, "protection dog." There are 3 phases in the sport of Schutzhund; tracking, obedience and protection. As the handler/dog team progress in their training, the demands and difficulty increases also, ranging from the BH to the Schutzhund III level of competition. The Iowa Hundesport Club is a USA affiliated Schutzhund club and we welcome anyone interested!!
